Ofc. GagnerPatrolman Louis Gagner

Patrolman Louis Gagner was killed when he came in contact with a live electric wire while directing traffic following  a storm on July 27th, 1930. The wire was carrying 2,300 volts of electricity. Patrolman Louis was survived by his wife and children.

Ofc. BaribeauPatrolman Michael R. Baribeau

Rice Lake Police Officer Michael R. Baribeau was shot and killed while investigating a domestic disturbance.  Patrolman Baribeau was part of an Emergency Response Team attempting to arrest a domestic abuse suspect for shooting at his wife and children the previous night.  The suspect was also shot and killed. Michael Baribeau was a 14-year veteran of the department and was survived by his wife, daughter, and son.
