Where do I apply for a dog license?
Dog and cat licenses are valid from January 1 through December 31 of each year. To obtain a license, owners must furnish proof of valid rabies vaccination and appropriate fee to the City Clerk. Animals less than 6 months of age are exempt from the license requirement.
When do you declare a snow emergency?
A snow emergency is declared after a snowfall of more than two inches. Plowing starts on the snow emergency routes first and then go to side streets.
Are there home improvement loans available for homeowners?
Low-to-moderate income homeowners may qualify for 0% interest CDBG deferred home improvement loans.

What is the Rice Lake Business Park?
Rice Lake's new business park has available 167 acres of varied size lots. The park is located on Rice Lake's North side with good access to USH 53, CTH SS and STH 48. The park was recently completed with streets, curb and gutter, water, sanitary and storm sewers. Electrical service will accommodate commercial or industrial needs.
What is the Rice Lake CedarSide Business Park?
The 44-acre CedarSide Business Park is directly south of Northwood Technical College. Development of the business park will be in conjunction with the Technical College, which owns about 16 acres of the project. The city owns the remainder of the property, which is in the south industrial park.
What is the Rice Lake Industrial Park?
Rice Lake's South Industrial Park currently has 2.7 acres available. The South industrial park is located near both the University of Wisconsin Center Barron County and the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.
